Allwyn and its team of volunteers setup a booth to promote GetaJob at local job fairs held at Chantilly High School on Mar 18 and NoVA Community college on Feb 28.
The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2017 Fairfax County Teen Job Fair at Chantilly High School along with The Connection Newspapers, Springfield Supervisor Pat Herrity and Sully Supervisor Kathy Smith on March 18. The job fair was to provide hundreds of teenagers the opportunity to get in front of employers and for employers to find talented, driven Fairfax County students to fill their positions.
A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) job fair was held at Northern Virginia Community College http://www.nvcc.edu/loudoun/ to encourage local student an opportunity to interact with potential employers.
During the fair we were able to encourage as many as 50 students to sign up with GetaJob and setup their profiles . We also saw a lot of enthusiasm among local employers who posted more than 25 jobs since the job fairs.
As we continue to generate more interest in GetaJob, look us up here and spread the word http://getajobdulles.com/
